If you're going to use Mental Case to memorize something you're going to use before an audience, such as a speech or presentation, do your card viewing and lessons with other distractions in the room, such as having the television, stereo, and/or radio on.

You'll find that when you actually need the memorized information in front of your audience, unintentional distractions will be less of a problem.
